The YnKGSLY cable is a specialized solution designed for operation under the harsh conditions typical of mining environments. PVC insulation ensures reliable electrical protection, while the color-coded conductors facilitate easy identification of individual wires. YnKGSLY cables are approved for use in methane zones and in workings at risk of coal dust explosions. Additionally, they hold a positive technical opinion from the TI EMAG Institute (No. 05/53) and a certification (No. 05/53/A1/2), confirming compliance with stringent safety standards.

Technical Specifications and Construction

The YnKGSLY 500V cable contains 5 conductors, each with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². This configuration enables efficient signal transmission and power supply to control devices. Conductors are layered twisted within the cable core, providing additional protection against mechanical damage. The core is wrapped in a polyester tape to reinforce insulation. The outer sheath is made of special flame-retardant, self-extinguishing rubber-grade PVC, available in black RAL 9005 or blue RAL 5015 (for use in intrinsically safe circuits).

Also available are YnKGSLX cables with polyethylene (X) insulation, characterized by low capacitance and designed for long-distance signal transmission, as well as halogen-free XnKGSLX cables that offer enhanced fire safety through reduced emission of smoke and corrosive gases during combustion.
