The conductors are made of soft copper strands (available in classes 1, 2, and sectoral), insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). Conductor insulation colors comply with norm PN-HD 308 or are black with white numbering. Conductors are layered twisted around a filler core, and the entire assembly is enclosed by a filling layer and an outer halogen-free (HFFR) sheath in black—other colors available on request. In N2XH-J cable, the green-yellow protective conductor is located in the outer layer for added safety.
