The YKYżo 0.6/1 kV power cable with five cores, each 25 mm² in cross-section, is a robust solution for transmitting electrical energy under demanding conditions. YKYżo cables are designed for permanent installation indoors, in cable ducts, and directly in the ground. This provides flexibility in route selection and mounting methods. The use of high-quality materials ensures resistance to mechanical damage and environmental factors.

Construction and Design Features

The durability of YKYżo cables stems from their carefully engineered design. Conductors are made of soft copper strands (available in classes RE, RM, and SM), ensuring excellent flexibility and ease of installation. Insulation is made of insulating PVC, effectively preventing electric shock, while colored insulation cores simplify identification of individual conductors in accordance with PN-HD 308. In YKYżo cables, the green-yellow core serves as the protective earth conductor. The insulated cores are twisted around a central core, providing additional protection against mechanical damage. The entire assembly is enclosed in a durable outer sheath of PVC (PVC with protective outer layer) in black color – alternative sheath colors are also available upon request.

Special variants of YKYżo cables to note:

• YKYżo-O: Designed for environments exposed to petroleum-based substances (e.g., fuel stations). The sheath is made of a special compound resistant to oil.
• XnKXSżo: Halogen-free cables that minimize emission of toxic gases during fire, enhancing safety for people and property.
