The YKYFty 0.6/1 kV cable is a solid solution for transmitting electrical energy in demanding conditions. Designed for both industrial applications and power networks, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation. The construction with a steel armour effectively protects against mechanical damage and rodents, making it an ideal choice for installations exposed to potential hazards.

This cable is used in industrial plants, power plants and local power networks. It can be used both indoors and outdoors – in cable ducts or directly in the ground. It is a versatile cable that will work in many different applications.

Construction and design features

The key element of the YKYFty cable is its solid construction. The cores are made of soft copper wires, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. Core insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) guarantees safe use. Twisted strands of insulated cores provide stability and resistance to damage. The armour made of spirally wound galvanized steel strips constitutes an effective protective barrier against external factors. The whole is surrounded by a coating of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in black colour, providing additional protection and durability.

• YKYFtyżo: Cables designed for operation in environments with petroleum-based materials, e.g. petrol stations – coating resistant to oil action.
• XnKXSFtxnżo: Halogen-free cables, increasing fire safety – limited smoke emission and no corrosive gases during combustion.

Operating and installation parameters

The YKYFty cable is characterized by a core cross-section of 1.5 mm² and has 5 cores. The maximum permissible operating temperature of the core is 70°C, and the permissible ambient temperature during installation is -5°C to +50°C. After installation, the cable can operate at a temperature of -30°C to +70°C (without vibration). The minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 186 mm. The rated voltage of the cable is 600/1000 V. Thanks to this, the cable is easy to install and provides reliable operation for a long time.
