Power cable YKYFty – reliability and protection in every installation

The YKYFty 0.6/1 kV power cable is a solid solution for transmitting electrical energy in demanding conditions. Designed for both industrial and domestic applications, it ensures safe and efficient operation of installations. This cable is ideal for laying indoors, outdoors, in cable ducts and directly in the ground. Its construction with steel armour guarantees high resistance to mechanical damage and rodent activity, as well as providing shielding.

Construction and application – protection and flexibility

The YKYFty cable is distinguished by its careful construction. Stranded copper conductors (available in RE, RM or SM classes) are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The insulation colours of the conductors comply with PN-HD 308 standard, and the YKYFty 0.6/1 kV cable includes a green-yellow protective conductor. Twisted conductor cores are surrounded by a PVC jacket, and the whole is protected by a spirally wound armour of galvanized steel strips. The final protective layer is again a PVC coating, standardly black, but also available in other colours on request.

This makes the cable perfect for industrial plants, power plants and local power supply networks. Special versions of YKYFty-O 0.6/1 kV and YKYFty-O 0.6/1 kV cables are intended for use in places exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials – e.g. petrol stations or fuel warehouses. Halogen-free XnKXSFtxn 0.6/1 kV and XnKXSFtxn 0.6/1 kV cables provide additional fire safety thanks to the limited emission of smoke and corrosive gases during combustion.
