YKSLYekw-Nr 0.6/1 kV cable is a flexible, shielded cable designed for use in energetic control, safety and automation systems. It will work well in both industrial installations – on production lines, in air conditioning units – and in applications requiring reliable signal transmission.

Thanks to its construction, this cable is resistant to electromagnetic interference and ensures stable operation of devices.

A key feature of the cable is its shielding, which protects against the influence of external electric fields and minimizes interference emissions. This translates to higher signal quality and improved performance of connected devices. Additionally, the special construction provides high flexibility and mechanical strength, making installation and operation easier even in difficult conditions. This cable is suitable for permanent laying as well as for movable connections inside buildings. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating is resistant to oils, expanding its range of applications.

Construction and properties

The YKSLYekw-Nr cable consists of flexible, stranded copper conductors (tinned on request), insulated with black polyvinyl chloride with white numbering of the conductor. The conductors are twisted into a core, which is wrapped with a polyester tape. A common static screen made of laminated metal foil with an earthing copper wire provides effective protection against interference. The whole is surrounded by a black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket. This construction guarantees not only reliable operation, but also durability and resistance to mechanical damage.

• Number of conductors: 14 – allows for the transmission of multiple signals simultaneously.
• Nominal conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm² – provides adequate current carrying capacity for most control and signaling applications.
• Shielding: protects against electromagnetic (EMI) and radio frequency (RFI) interference.
• Flexibility: facilitates installation and routing of the cable in tight spaces.
• Oil resistance: allows the cable to be used in industrial environments exposed to contact with petroleum substances.
• Mechanical strength: ensures long-lasting and reliable cable operation.

Special versions of the cable are also available:

• YKSLYekw-Nr-O: designed for operation in places of frequent contact with petroleum materials (e.g. gas stations). They have a coating resistant to the action of oils.
• YnKSLYekw-Nr: with increased fire resistance, meeting the PN-EN 60332-3 standard regarding flame propagation.
• YvKSLYekw-Nr: with a reinforced coating, designed for outdoor installations and direct burial in the ground.
