Signal cable YKSLYekw-Nr 0.6/1 kV – reliability and flexibility in installations

The YKSLYekw-Nr 0.6/1 kV cable is a flexible, shielded cable designed for use in energy control, protection and control systems. It is suitable for both industrial installations – on production lines or in air conditioning units – and for electrical power supply. Its construction provides protection against electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in environments with high levels of interference.

This cable is characterized by high mechanical strength and flexibility, which facilitates installation and routing of cables, especially in tight spaces. The possibility of permanent laying and use in movable connections makes it a versatile solution for various applications. In addition, the cable jacket exhibits good resistance to oils, increasing its durability in specific working conditions.

Construction and application

The cable is constructed of 24 flexible copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², each insulated with black polyvinyl chloride with white wire numbering. The wires are twisted in layers around a core, and in the version with a protective conductor (YKSLYekwżo-Nr), a green-yellow wire is placed in the outer layer. The whole is surrounded by a polyester tape and a common static screen made of laminated metal foil with an earthing conductor. The final protective layer is a black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket.
