YKSLYekw-Nr 0.6/1 kV cable is a flexible, shielded cable designed for use in energy-based control, safety and automation systems. It is suitable for both industrial installations – on production lines, in air conditioning units – and power supply systems. Its construction ensures reliable operation even in difficult conditions.

A key feature of the cable is its common static screen, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference, both induced from the outside and emitted by the cable itself. This is particularly important in environments with high levels of interference, where precise signal transmission is crucial. Additionally, the cable is characterized by high flexibility and mechanical strength, which facilitates installation and ensures long-term operation.

Construction and application

The cable is designed for versatility. It can be used for both fixed installations and movable connections inside buildings. The cable jacket exhibits good resistance to oils, which expands its range of applications – it is ideal for use in petrol stations or fuel storage facilities.

The cable construction includes:

• Conductors: flexible, stranded, twisted from soft copper wires (optionally tinned).
• Insulation: made of black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation with white numbering of the conductor for easy identification.
• Screen: common static screen made of laminated metal foil with an earthing conductor to ensure protection against interference.
• Jacket: made of black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheathing, also available in other colors on request.

Special versions of the cable are also available:

• YKSLYekw-Nr-O: resistant to petroleum-based materials – ideal for environments exposed to contact with oils and lubricants.
• YnKSLYekw-Nr: with increased flame retardancy – meets the PN-EN 60332-3 standard regarding the absence of flame propagation.
• YvKSLYekw-Nr: with reinforced jacket – designed for outdoor installations and direct burial in the ground.
