This shielded signal cable is designed for a wide range of applications in control, protection, and power systems. The YKSLYekw-Nr cable features a common static shield that minimizes electromagnetic interference, protecting the signal from external electric fields while preventing emissions into the environment. This is critical for applications requiring precise data transmission and reliable operation.

Construction and Properties

The cable is engineered for durability and ease of installation. It consists of 19 flexible copper conductors, each with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², individually insulated with black PVC and marked with white numbering for easy identification. The conductors are twisted in layers around a central core. In the version with protective conductor (YKSLYekwżo-Nr), a green-yellow protective conductor is located in the outer layer. The cable core is wrapped with a polyester tape for additional mechanical protection. The common static shield is made of laminated metallic foil, ensuring effective suppression of interference. The entire assembly is covered with a black outer sheath of oil-resistant PVC rubber compound.

• YnKSLYekw: Enhanced flame retardancy – self-extinguishing sheath compliant with PN-EN 60332-3, limiting flame spread.
• YvKSLYekw: Reinforced sheath – designed for outdoor installations and direct burial in soil.
