The YTKSYekw 14x2x0.5 cable is a shielded cable designed for connections inside buildings, in telecommunication, telegraphic and data transmission systems. It will be suitable for both telephone installations and connecting information processing devices. Its construction provides protection against electromagnetic interference, which guarantees stable signal transmission.
A key element of the cable is a common static screen, which minimizes the impact of external electric fields on the transmitted data. This is particularly important in environments with high levels of interference. This cable is ideal for permanent internal installations where reliability and connection quality are crucial.
Construction and application
The cable consists of 28 copper conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². These conductors are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in different colors, which facilitates identification during installation. Twisted in pairs, the conductors are then arranged in layers and secured with a screen made of metal foil with an additional grounding conductor. The whole is surrounded by a coating of rubberized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in white (RAL 9010), although other colors are also available on request.
This construction provides not only protection against interference, but also high flexibility and durability of the cable. This is important for installers who need to work in confined spaces and avoid damage to the cable during installation.

The YTKSYekw cable is characterized by an allowable operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C during operation and -5°C to +50°C during installation. Its approximate outer diameter is 8.2 mm, and its weight is about 101 kg/km. This makes the cable easy to route and does not take up much space in the existing infrastructure.
