YTKSYekw 2x2x0.5 cable is a shielded cable designed for indoor connections of telecommunication, telegraphic and teletransmission devices. It will also be useful in installations for information processing and other similar applications. The cable construction with a static screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission.

A key element is the use of soft copper wires in the cores, which facilitates installation and provides cable flexibility. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) guarantees good resistance to mechanical and chemical factors. Twisted pairs of cores reduce interference, and a common screen made of metal foil provides additional protection against external disturbances.

Construction and application

YTKSYekw cables are characterized by a careful construction that affects their reliability and durability. Single-wire cores made of copper with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² provide adequate conductivity. Core insulation made of PVC is available in various colors, in accordance with PN-92/T-90321, which facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation. Twisting the cores into pairs and the center increases resistance to interference. Additionally, the cable has a static screen made of laminated metal foil with an earthing conductor to increase safety and reduce noise. The whole is surrounded by a coating of PVC sheathing (PVC), most often in white RAL 9010 - but other colors are also available on request.
