The YTKSYekw cable is a shielded station cable designed for connecting telecommunication, telegraphic and teletransmission devices. It is suitable for both station installations and information processing systems. Its construction provides protection against electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing a stable signal transmission.

Construction and application

The key to the cable's operation is its advanced construction. It consists of multi-wire copper cores, insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in different colors, which facilitates the identification of individual wires. The cores twisted in pairs and then in a center are additionally protected by a static screen made of laminated metal foil. This screen minimizes the impact of external interference on the transmitted signal – this is particularly important in environments with high levels of electromagnetic interference. An additional grounding wire increases the safety of use. The whole is surrounded by a durable coating of flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC), available standardly in white RAL 9010, but other colors are also possible to order.
