The APLA dual-function condensing boiler is an energy-efficient heating device designed for maximum user comfort with minimal dimensions. Thanks to advanced condensing technology, the device recovers heat from flue gases, which translates into a significant reduction in heating costs while maintaining high energy efficiency.
High-quality construction and materials
The heart of the boiler is a latest-generation stainless steel heat exchanger with a single-coil design. This construction ensures not only high heat exchange efficiency but also long-term resistance to corrosion and limescale buildup.
The cylindrical stainless steel burner is characterized by low NOx emissions (class 6), making it environmentally friendly. A fan with electronically controlled variable speed allows for precise power adjustment to current heating needs.
The compact dimensions of the device (650×400×303 mm) and low weight (31 kg) make the boiler ideal for small and tight spaces. It can also be installed in existing installations where changing the heat source is difficult due to limited spatial conditions.
Operating parameters and energy efficiency
The boiler offers an extremely wide power modulation range from 15% to 100%, allowing for precise adjustment of performance to actual heat demand. This ensures the device always operates at an optimal point, minimizing gas consumption.
The useful efficiency of the boiler at nominal load is 97%, and at partial load with a return temperature of 30°C, it reaches 107%. This means a real energy return greater than theoretically possible due to condensing heat recovery.
The device's heat output is:
- 3,5-27,2 kW (at supply/return temperature 80/60°C)
- 3,9-25,7 kW (at supply/return temperature 50/30°C)
The domestic hot water flow for Δt=30K is 13 dm³/min, ensuring comfortable conditions for the household.
Advanced control and communication
The device is equipped with the Open-Therm communication system, which enables integration with room controllers and external temperature management systems. This allows for precise control of the boiler's operating parameters directly from the room controller.
Additionally, Internet control is available using the System Termet Comfort package. This enables room temperature management via smartphone or tablet - an ideal solution for people who value comfort and control over their heating system even when away from home.
Applications and system compatibility
The APLA boiler can operate in a cascade system (up to a maximum of 5 boilers) for larger buildings or facilities with increased heating requirements. The device has the capability to work with multi-zone modules, enabling the creation of an advanced heating system with independent control of different building zones. Additionally, the boiler can cooperate with air/water heat pumps, creating a hybrid heating system with even greater energy efficiency.
The system includes a complete set of protections guaranteeing safe device operation and protecting the installation from damage resulting from incorrect operating parameters or operating conditions.
