The GWC GroundBox 200 damper is a key element of modern and energy-efficient mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The damper is compatible with AirPack, AirPack Home and AirPack4 ventilation unit controllers via Expansion/Expansion2 modules, ensuring full automation of the process. The diameter of the ventilation duct connections is 200 mm, making it ideal for standard installations.

GroundBox 200 enables fully automatic switching between traditional air intake and the use of a ground heat exchanger. The decision on how to supply the system with fresh air is made based on current temperature conditions, which translates into energy efficiency and user comfort. Additionally, the damper offers a regenerative function for the heat exchanger, increasing its efficiency.
For installers, the ability to program all operating parameters of the controller is important, allowing the device to be adapted to the specific conditions of a given building. When controlled from the AirPack automation system, there is no need to install additional temperature sensors – the system uses data from the ventilation unit. Versions with an autonomous control system equipped with its own temperature sensor and intuitive user interface are also available.
