Pre-filtration for HRV units – protection and savings

This set of two Prefilter 08 pre-filters is designed to work with CleanPad Pure 08 filters used in AirPack Home model 200f HRV units. Their main task is to protect more expensive main filters from larger contaminants, which translates into a longer lifespan of the entire filtration system and lower operating costs.

How do Prefilter 08 filters work?

Filters made of high-quality non-woven fabric effectively capture dust, insects, leaves, seeds and other larger particles. This means that the main filters are not burdened with mechanical contamination and can effectively focus on filtering fine particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) and allergens. Regular replacement of pre-filters is a simple operation that helps maintain high air quality in the building and extend the period between replacements of expensive main filters.

Installation and replacement

Replacing pre-filters is extremely simple – just slide out the CleanPad Pure 08 cassette, remove the used filter and install a new one. Due to its simplicity, it does not require the intervention of a specialist or the use of additional tools. It is recommended to regularly check the condition of the pre-filters (every month) and replace them if they are heavily soiled. Remember that pre-filters are single-use products – attempts to clean them may reduce their effectiveness.
