Cable tie CV-140MW black 140x2.5
Professional solution for fastening and organizing installations
The TRYTYT CV-140MW cable tie is a high-quality mounting component designed for demanding industrial and installation applications. Made of modified polyamide 6.6 with the addition of "A" weather stabilizer, it guarantees exceptional durability and resistance to ultraviolet radiation.
Material properties and construction
The base material is polyamide 6.6 enriched with carbonate "A", which functions as a weather stabilizer. This special composition ensures the retention of full mechanical properties over a longer period of time—unlike standard materials, which lose strength after approximately 1500 hours of exposure to sunlight. The design with internal serration and a ratchet mechanism guarantees a permanent loop closure without the possibility of accidental loosening.
Operating parameters include a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, with the possibility of short-term use up to 110°C. The installation temperature ranges from -10°C to +60°C. The tensile strength is 8 kg, and the maximum diameter of the bundled cable is 33 mm. The material is characterized by a dielectric strength of 50 kV/mm², water absorption of 2.5% at 50% relative humidity, and a UL-94 V2 flammability rating (self-extinguishing).
Application and user benefits
Due to increased resistance to UV radiation and weather factors, the ties find wide application both indoors and outdoors. They are particularly recommended for photovoltaic (PV) installations, where cables are exposed to continuous sunlight and variable weather conditions.
In the electrical installation industry, they are used to organize wire bundles in switchboards, control cabinets, and cable trays. They are also effective in telecommunications, automotive, and general construction work for fastening information signs, outdoor lighting, or monitoring system components.
The flexibility of the material allows for the secure bundling of various wire sizes without the risk of damaging the insulation. Rounded edges protect cables from mechanical damage during installation, and the black color ensures aesthetics in industrial installations.
Normative compliance and operational safety
The product meets the rigorous quality standards required in modern construction and industry. The polyamide 6.6 construction ensures compliance with the UL-94 V2 flammability class, meaning self-extinguishing properties—which are crucial for fire safety.
The ties are free from harmful phosphorus and cadmium compounds, which is important for safety in public utility buildings. The melting temperature of the material is +256°C, demonstrating the high thermal stability of the design.
