Construction information board – a key element of safety and communication on a construction site

Construction information board is an essential element of equipment for every construction site, renovation or road works. It is used to convey important information about the work being carried out to both employees and passers-by. It ensures safety and meets legal requirements regarding informing about the investment. Made of durable plastic, resistant to weather conditions, it is durable and legible even in difficult conditions.

Construction and materials – durability and legibility

The board with dimensions of 700 x 900 mm is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a thickness of 0.6 mm. This material is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors, which guarantees long-term use. Screen printing ensures a clear and durable graphic and text, visible from a distance. The yellow color of the board, in accordance with applicable regulations, increases its visibility and draws attention to the work being carried out.

Application and compliance with regulations

The BTI-2/2 information board complies with the amendment to the Construction Law of September 19, 2020. It is intended to be placed in a visible place from the access road or public road. According to the law, it should contain key information about the investment, such as:

• type and address of the work carried out,
• date and number of the building permit decision or notification,
• name of the authority issuing the decision or considering the notification,
• details of the competent supervisory authority,
• details of the investor and the site manager.

Thanks to this, the board not only informs about the work being carried out, but also fulfills the legal obligations of the investor and the construction manager. This is particularly important in the context of inspections and potential legal consequences for lack of proper information.

Assembly and additional information

The board can be easily mounted on the wall using appropriate mounting elements (not included). It is worth remembering to place it at an appropriate height to ensure easy reading for pedestrians and drivers. The board does not include mounting material in the set and is not fluorescent. Its multi-colored print ensures the readability of the information provided. Made of plastic, it does not contain halogen.
