Contrary to the heat-shrinkable joints, also offered by Borpetrol, insulation with the use of a gel joint can be made by people who do not have much experience in the field of electrical installations.

• 500 SERIES, isolating five-core cables, includes a special connector ensuring double insulation of the joined wires and at the same time ensuring the correct arrangement of the wires inside the joint. The kit also includes an Allen key required to tighten the connector screws. The set also includes tie rods that protect the muff against accidental, unintentional opening. Shark 506 joints can be used to make straight connections from 3 to 5 wires with a cross section of 1.5 - 6mm or for branching connections where the supply wires (3-5) have a maximum cross-section of 1.5 - 6mm and the discharge wires (3-5) 1.5 - 2.5mm2.
