This insulated branch terminal is a proven component for creating three-way connections in electrical installations where reliability and safety are paramount. The device enables effective tapping or splitting of a circuit for three conductors, making it an ideal choice for mounting modular equipment such as circuit breakers or contactors. Thanks to the use of copper as the conductive material and tinned surfaces, it ensures high corrosion resistance and connection stability even in demanding environmental conditions.

Application and Wire Cross-Section Range

The primary function of this component is to connect wires of different cross-sections at a single point. The terminal accommodates main and branch conductors made of copper, eliminating the risk of material incompatibility. Wires with a cross-section from 1.5 to 16 mm² (solid type) can be connected directly, whereas for stranded conductors, the use of ferrule terminals is recommended, allowing safe connection of up to 10 mm². Both the main conductor channel and the branch channels are single-sided open, facilitating quick installation and quality inspection of the connection before tightening.

Operating Conditions and Mechanical Construction

The component is designed for operation in installations with a voltage up to 690 V and a rated current of 63 A. The insulation of the entire body provides an additional level of safety for the installer during service or assembly work. The dimensions of the stud (5x4x12.3 mm) have been selected to ensure optimal mechanical strength of the connection while maintaining the compact dimensions of the entire terminal.
