The [AKWILON] type fan is designed to work in all types of general-purpose domestic and industrial supply and exhaust ventilation systems. The [AKWILON] fan is available in two design variants:

• [AKWILON 500] supply-exhaust axial wall fan
• [AKWILON 500 / DA] roof axial fan with horizontal ejection Type of execution: standard The main static structural elements [housing, impeller, support frame, cover (type DA)] are made of polyester-glass composites. The use of composites based on glass fiber reinforced resins provides the structure with high mechanical strength and resistance to atmospheric and chemical effects. The surfaces of the casing elements are finished with a layer of gelcoat colored according to the basic colors of the RAL palette. The resistance of gelcoats to UV radiation ensures an aesthetic appearance during many years of use. The fan rotors are dynamically balanced in class [G 2.5]. Each fan undergoes the balancing control in its own bearings on the test stand [ISO 2372]. [AKWILON] type fans are intended for the transport of dust-free medium [see Depending on the supply conditions on site, the fans can be supplied with asynchronous motors with a rotating stator, single-phase or three-phase single-speed motors. It is recommended to use the [WIS] type service switches. Proper electrical connection and current protection of single- or three-phase motors is ensured by the use of [SZ] type start-up-protection kits. The three-phase, single-speed fan motor can be powered and regulated (smooth speed control) using a frequency converter [FAUST regulation system]. Single-phase, single-speed fan motor can be powered and regulated (smooth speed control) from AC voltage control systems [WIR S SYSTEM, DN WIR SYSTEM]. [AKWILON 500 / DA] type fan requires a support plinth. The supplier of the propulsion engines is the German company Ziehl Abegg.
