The damping roof base, made of laminate or galvanized steel, allows the installation of the roof fan directly above the ventilated room. The sound-insulating material lining the inside of the base significantly eliminates the nuisance of fan noise from the side of its inlet. The assembly of the damping base is provided on the plinth that equalizes the roof level with the use of anchoring assembly bolts. The structure is demountable, so it is possible to periodically clean the damping inserts.
