Uponor Ecoflex Thermo VIP Single pre-insulated pipe is an advanced solution for central heating and cooling installations. It utilizes innovative vacuum insulation panel (VIP) technology in combination with PE-X foam, providing exceptionally low heat loss – even five times better than traditional PUR insulation and ten times better than PEX. Construction and properties

The Ecoflex Thermo VIP Single pipe consists of several key elements:

• Inner pipe: Made of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa) with a diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 6.8 mm, ensuring strength and corrosion resistance. The white color facilitates identification.
• Insulation: A revolutionary combination of vacuum insulation panels (VIP) and closed-cell PE-X foam, characterized by an exceptionally low thermal conductivity of 0.004 W/(m.K).
• Protective pipe: Durable polyethylene (HDPE) with a corrugated surface, providing protection against mechanical damage and facilitating installation.
• Sleeve: The set includes a sleeve for connecting the pipes.

Thanks to this construction, the pipe is characterized by high flexibility, which makes it easier to run the installation even in difficult conditions. The minimum bending radius is 800 mm. The pipe is designed to operate at a maximum working pressure of 6 bar and a medium temperature of up to 80°C (short-term load up to 90°C).
