Uponor Ecoflex Thermo VIP Twin pipes are an advanced solution for central heating and cooling installations. The twin-pipe design, where the supply and return pipes are routed in a single protective jacket, significantly simplifies installation and reduces costs. These pipes are characterized by exceptionally low heat loss thanks to the use of high-quality insulation, which translates into energy efficiency of the system. They are manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 15632 standard, guaranteeing safety and reliability.

Construction and properties

The pipe consists of several key elements that ensure its high functionality: an inner pipe made of PE-Xa (cross-linked polyethylene) with a diameter of 32 mm and a wall thickness of 2.9 mm, a highly effective PE-X foam insulation with a low lambda value (0.004 W/(m.K)), and a durable outer jacket made of corrugated HDPE (high-density polyethylene) in black color. Additionally, the presence of an anti-diffusion zone prevents oxygen from penetrating the installation, protecting it from corrosion. The built-in central element "Dog Bone" facilitates the identification of the supply and return pipes during installation. These pipes are flexible, making them easy to lay even in difficult conditions – the minimum bending radius is 500 mm. Thanks to the circumferential stiffness class SN4, the pipes are resistant to mechanical loads.
