The Uponor Smart UFH Pipe with a diameter of 16 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm is a modern solution designed for the construction of underfloor heating systems. Construction and properties

The inner layer made of PE-RT II is characterized by antistatic properties, preventing scale build-up and ensuring long-term system performance. The middle layer made of EVOH acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, protecting the installation from oxygen penetration, which extends its lifespan. The outer layers made of PE-RT II provide resistance to mechanical damage and flexibility, making installation easier. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the pipe is 0.025 mm/(m.K), which is important when designing installations taking into account temperature changes. The maximum short-term operating temperature is 95°C, and the continuous temperature is 70°C.
