PEX pipe for water supply and heating installations

Uponor Aqua Pipe PN10 pipe with a diameter of 32x4.4 mm is a reliable solution for building water supply installations, including hot and cold domestic water, and underfloor heating and radiator systems. Made of high-quality PE-Xa plastic, it ensures long-lasting tightness and corrosion resistance. Available in a length of 6 meters, it facilitates installation and minimizes the number of connections.

Construction and properties

The Aqua Pipe is characterized by a single-layer structure – it has one layer made of PE-Xa both inside and outside. The PE-Xa material (cross-linked polyethylene) provides high flexibility, which makes it easier to route the pipe in complex installation systems. The minimum bending radius is 160 mm, allowing the pipe to be shaped without the risk of damage. In addition, a coefficient of thermal expansion of 0.14 mm/(m.K) ensures that the pipe copes well with changes in the temperature of the medium flowing inside.

Application and safety

The PN10 pipe is designed to operate at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar and a short-term medium temperature of up to 95°C. The white color of the pipe makes it easier to identify in the installation. The wall thickness of 4.4 mm provides adequate mechanical strength and resistance to damage. The pipe does not have a socket – requires the use of appropriate clamping or crimping fittings (available separately). Made of plastic, it is resistant to the action of most chemicals present in water and heating systems.
