Universal multilayer pipe for water and heating installations

The Uponor Combi Pipe in a protective sleeve, with a diameter of 20 mm and a wall thickness of 2.8 mm, is a versatile solution for central heating and domestic water installations. Available in white, it is supplied in a convenient roll of 50 meters. The pipe's four-layer construction ensures high durability and resistance to external factors.

This pipe is particularly recommended for systems where protection against oxygen diffusion is important – thanks to the use of an EVOH (ethyl vinyl alcohol) barrier, it minimizes the risk of corrosion of installation components. The protective sleeve facilitates installation and protects the pipe from mechanical damage during transport and installation.

Construction and properties

The Combi Pipe stands out with its unique construction: inner and outer layers made of PE-Xa (cross-linked polyethylene), with an EVOH layer and another PE-Xa layer in between. This combination of materials guarantees high flexibility, pressure resistance (up to 10 bar at 20°C) and temperature resistance (short-term up to 95°C). The coefficient of thermal expansion is 0.14 mm/(m.K), which should be taken into account when designing the installation. The minimum bending radius is 160 mm, which makes it easier to adapt the pipe to complex installation layouts.

The pipe is equipped with integrated sockets with an outer diameter of 28 mm, which speeds up and simplifies the connection process. The anti-diffusion zone further protects the installation from the negative effects of oxygen. The flexibility of the pipe allows it to be easily routed in hard-to-reach places, and the white color of the sleeve improves the aesthetics of the installation.
