Uponor S-Press connection elbow – reliability and durability of connections

This is a 45° elbow from the S-Press series, made of high-quality PPSU, designed for connecting pipes with a diameter of 63 mm. It is an integral part of the Uponor pressing system, guaranteeing quick, safe and durable installation of water and heating systems. The use of PPSU material ensures resistance to high temperatures and pressures, as well as the longevity of the connection.

The elbow is equipped with a steel clamping sleeve with an inspection hole, which facilitates quality control of the made connection. A unique clamping execution indicator and a leak test indicator further increase the certainty of correct installation. The optimized shape of the body improves the flow of medium in the installation.

Application and compatibility

The S-Press 45° elbow is perfect for both drinking water and central heating installations. It can be used in residential, commercial and public buildings. It is 100% compatible with other components of the Uponor S-Press system, allowing for the construction of complex and reliable installations. Compliance with standards for drinking water (PZH certificate) and heating (DVGW) confirms its safety and high quality.

The elbow is characterized by temperature resistance in drinking water installations up to 70°C at a constant pressure of 10 bar and short-term up to 95°C. In heating systems, the permissible constant operating temperature is 80°C at a pressure of 10 bar, while the short-term temperature can be up to 100°C for a period of up to 100 hours of use. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar at a temperature of 20°C. Made of PPSU, a material with high chemical and mechanical resistance and dimensional stability. It uses a socket connection, providing a tight and durable connection without the need for additional sealants.

Additionally, the elbow has a QR code enabling quick access to product data and technical documentation. GW and GZ threads comply with EN 10226-1 standard.
