Intelligent heating and cooling control with Uponor Smatrix Pulse COM R-208

Uponor Smatrix Pulse COM R-208 is a key element of the system that enables connection of Uponor Smatrix Pulse controllers with the mobile application and the Uponor cloud. The gateway provides remote access to the heating and cooling system, as well as convenient temperature management in each room. Compatible with Uponor Smatrix Base Pulse X-245 Bus 6X and Uponor Smatrix Wave Pulse X-265 6X controller models, it connects via RJ45 cable and Ethernet interface.

Functionality and application

The device serves as a central communication point, allowing monitoring and temperature regulation from a smartphone or tablet via the dedicated Uponor Smatrix Pulse application (available on Android and iOS). This allows users to adjust heating settings to their preferences, regardless of location. Additionally, the communication module enables integration with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, which increases user comfort.

The R-208 gateway is particularly useful in installations with multiple rooms – it supports up to four controllers in one system. The ability to expand the system with additional modules allows control of even more rooms. Thanks to the auto-regulation function, the system optimizes energy consumption by adapting parameters to weather conditions and user habits.
