The 1.0 kW (1000 W) pre‑heater is intended for installation in recoVAIR 260/4 series heat recovery units. Its purpose is to provide a stable supply‑air temperature to the interior, even at extremely low outdoor temperatures. Without it, the system may restrict airflow or fail to operate efficiently in winter – this heater eliminates that problem.

How does it work and what does it provide?

It is mounted directly inside the device – no additional ducts or system modifications are required. It operates only when the outdoor temperature drops below the thresholds that allow effective heat recovery. Consequently, it does not continuously load the system, but activates only where it is truly needed.

In practice: when it is –15 °C outside and you want 20 °C indoors, the heater raises the incoming air by several degrees, preventing the indoor temperature from falling and avoiding excessive load on the radiator.
