Complete solar station for large installations

This device serves as a ready-to-use control and heat transport center in solar systems, eliminating the need for additional sensors or complex hydraulic circuits. The VPM 60/2 S model is designed to handle larger collector fields, making it an ideal choice for installations with an area of 20 to 60 m² using flat-plate collectors or 14 to 28 m² with evacuated tube collectors. Inside the housing, everything required for safe and efficient operation is already included: a high-surface-area heat exchanger (48 plates), a solar pump, a buffer charging pump, an automatic air vent, and a safety valve. This means the installer does not need to worry about selecting and mounting individual components – the station is ready for turnkey connection.

Intelligent control and easy installation

A key advantage of this solution is the integrated controller, which independently manages the flow of the solar fluid. There is no need for manual adjustment of flow parameters – the electronics automatically adapt the pump operation to current solar irradiation conditions. If necessary, advanced parameters can be fine-tuned by connecting external controllers VRS 620/3 or the comDIALOG plus system. The absence of a need to install additional temperature sensors (for the collector or storage tank) significantly simplifies wiring and reduces installation time.

The housing dimensions (750 x 450 x 350 mm) allow for compact placement of the station in the boiler room, while threaded connections R 3/4 on the solar side and G 3/4 on the storage side ensure universal compatibility with standard installations. The device operates with a fluid temperature up to 130°C and water up to 99°C, ensuring safety even in system stagnation scenarios. The maximum permissible working pressure is 6 bar on the solar side and 3 bar on the heating side.

This station is primarily designed for integration with allSTOR exclusiv VPS./3-7 storage tanks, ensuring system consistency within Vaillant solutions for large single-family homes or public buildings requiring significant amounts of domestic hot water. Thanks to high heat exchange efficiency and precise control, the device minimizes energy losses during heat transport from the collectors to the energy storage. It requires an electrical supply of 230 V/50 Hz, and the power consumption of the solar pump ranges from 4 to 70 W, enabling flexible operation depending on available solar radiation.
