Compensation vessel for solar systems

Tank made of steel, designed for operation in solar systems with working fluid. It has a capacity of 18 liters and is suitable for vertical installation – ideal where space is limited and mounting stability is important.

Maximum working pressure is 10 bar, meaning it can be used in high‑pressure systems, including those with long pipes or a large height difference between collectors and the tank. It does not require additional safeguards during normal use – its construction is designed to withstand conditions typical of solar installations.

Pre‑charge air pressure (before filling with fluid) is 2.5 bar – a standard value for solar systems, ensuring proper operation without manual adjustment during installation. The tank is resistant to antiseptic and antifreeze agents used in solar heating, eliminating the risk of material degradation.

Connections are G3/4" size, matching commonly used standards in Vaillant and other manufacturers' installations. Installation does not require specialized tools – a regular wrench and appropriate seals are sufficient. Note: before connecting to the circuit, check the air pressure – if it has dropped below 2 bar, it should be topped up.

The tank has a 2‑year warranty. It is not intended for horizontal installation – its construction (including wall and membrane layout) works only in a vertical position. For wall mounting, use a suitable bracket or mounting according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Dimensions: height 350 mm, diameter 270 mm – it does not take much space but provides enough volume to compensate fluid expansion at temperatures up to 90 °C.
