Expansion vessel for solar systems, 25 l

The tank is made of steel, designed for operation in solar systems with antifreeze fluid. It has a fixed vertical orientation and is suitable for wall mounting.

The pre‑charge pressure in the vessel is 1.5 bar – this value complies with typical solar installation requirements, but should be adjusted according to the heating device manufacturer's recommendations. When used with heat pumps, the pre‑charge pressure should be reduced to 1.0 bar.

The vessel is resistant to solar fluids and can be used in systems with a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. This does not automatically guarantee continuous operation – always verify the allowable pressure in the main device's documentation (e.g., collector, controller, heat exchanger).

Installation, initial start‑up, inspection and service must be performed only by authorized installation companies. Incorrect installation may cause system damage or safety hazards.

Dimensions: height 280 mm, depth 510 mm, length 280 mm. Weight: 5.7 kg. The tank does not include mounting accessories – separate brackets or a wall‑mounting holder are required.

Applications:

• Solar systems with flat‑plate or tube collectors
• Air‑to‑water heat‑pump systems (after reducing the pre‑charge pressure)
• Compatible with the auroTHERM, flexoCOMPACT exclusive, flexoTHERM exclusive series as well as VWF 157/4 and VWF 197/4

Do not use in gas systems or drinking‑water installations. Do not expose the vessel to pressures above 10 bar – even if the system theoretically operates below this value, exceeding it may damage the membrane or the tank wall.
