Air-to-water heat pump – efficient heating and cooling
The aroTHERM Plus VWL 35/6 monoblock air-to-water heat pump is a modern heating solution that combines high efficiency, an ecological approach, and user comfort. The device is designed for both new buildings and the modernization of existing installations, offering the possibility of heating, cooling, and preparing domestic hot water. Thanks to the use of the natural refrigerant R290, the aroTHERM Plus heat pump is environmentally friendly and ensures safe operation.
Technology and performance
The aroTHERM Plus series is characterized by high energy efficiency. A COP of 4.8 (at 7/35°C) guarantees low operating costs. The device is able to deliver a heating power of up to 3.4 kW, making it a suitable solution for medium-sized homes. Additionally, the heat pump offers active cooling with a power of 3.4 kW (at 35/7°C) and 4.5 kW (at 35/18°C), ensuring thermal comfort in the summer. Remote control and data transmission via the internet enable convenient management of the heating system from anywhere. The cascading capability of the device allows the power to be adjusted to current needs, and the ability to control multiple heating circuits increases installation flexibility.
Construction and application
The monoblock construction of the aroTHERM Plus heat pump simplifies installation and integration with the existing central heating system. The device, with dimensions of 1100 x 765 x 450 mm and a weight of 121 kg, can be installed outdoors, minimizing interference with the interior space. The heat pump is compatible with various heating systems, including traditional radiators, as well as underfloor heating. The ability to cooperate with actoSTOR buffer tanks and VMS 30 solar pumping groups expands the functionality of the system. Room temperature control and an adaptive heating curve ensure optimal user comfort and energy savings. Additionally, the device has built-in internal temperature and relative humidity sensors, allowing for precise adjustment of operating parameters to the conditions prevailing in the building.
