Heat recovery ventilator recoVAIR VAR 260/4 – ventilation unit with heat recovery 150 0010019689
Wall‑mounted heat recovery ventilation unit with counter‑flow cross‑flow heat exchanger
The unit operates at a maximum capacity of 260 m³/h, but its flow characteristic is matched to real conditions – at a pressure of 100 Pa it delivers 150 m³/h, which means stable and predictable operation even with duct losses. The polystyrene heat exchanger provides a recovery efficiency of 87 % – this is not a theoretical value but a measured result in accordance with EN 13141-7 and the Passive House Institute certification. This means that in winter you lose much less energy heating the outdoor air.
In the complete version you receive everything needed for installation: a digital controller built into the housing, F7 filters (for outdoor air) and G4 filters (for exhaust), an air‑humidity sensor and an automatic bypass – which disables heat recovery in summer and allows natural cooling. The duct connections have an internal diameter of 180 mm and an external diameter of 210 mm – they fit standard ventilation pipes, and snap‑on fittings facilitate quick installation even in existing buildings.
The device measures 885 × 595 × 631 mm and weighs 41 kg – it is light enough to be mounted on a wall without additional structural reinforcement. Power consumption in standby mode is only 15 W, and the maximum (at full load) is 170 W. The anti‑freeze heating element operates at temperatures below –3 °C and draws up to 1170 W – but it runs only when needed.
Sound level in the room is 43 dB(A) at low fan speeds – it does not disturb everyday use. The unit has an energy class A and meets Passive House requirements – this is not a marketing slogan but a certified fact. It can be controlled manually via a four‑position switch or connected to a VRC 720 controller or a multiMATIC VRC 700, so the whole heating‑ventilation system works as a single unit.
Installation is simple: hang the unit on the wall, connect the ducts and power – the built‑in system takes care of the rest. Filters are changed tool‑free, and the humidity sensor automatically adjusts airflow to the room’s needs. No additional control or complex configuration is required.
