Enthalpic heat recovery without opening windows

The recoVAIR VAR 360/4E ventilation unit uses an enthalpic counter‑flow cross heat exchanger that recovers not only heat but also moisture from the exhaust air. This means that in winter the indoor air does not dry out, and in summer there is no excessive humidification – especially important in densely populated homes or in kitchens, bathrooms, and other water‑intensive spaces. A recovery efficiency close to 98 % significantly reduces the load on heating and air‑conditioning systems.

Filtration and air‑quality control

In the complete configuration the unit is equipped with two filters: G4 for capturing large dust particles and F7 for removing fine suspensions such as pollen, mold spores, or allergens. An air‑humidity sensor automatically adjusts the airflow – no manual regulation is needed, even with changing weather conditions. A bypass allows the heat exchanger to be bypassed on warm days when cooling is desired without additional energy load. Connections with a diameter of 180/210 mm enable easy ductwork installation – both for new installations and for retrofitting existing systems.

Quiet operation and compact construction

The device operates at 54 dB(A), providing a low noise level – quiet enough not to disturb sleep or work at home. Dimensions of 885 × 595 × 631 mm allow installation in confined spaces, such as suspended ceilings or technical cupboards. The whole unit is finished in white and designed to integrate easily with interior décor. A digital controller enables simple operation – no extra panels or apps are required.

Building protection and energy savings

By recovering both moisture and heat, condensation on walls and windows is avoided – greatly reducing the risk of mold growth. The unit works bidirectionally: it simultaneously introduces fresh outdoor air and exhausts stale indoor air – without the need to open windows. Energy efficiency class A indicates that at the maximum flow of 360 m³/h it consumes less energy than many other devices in this class. The maximum power consumption is 342 W, suitable for single‑family houses and small multi‑family buildings.
