Vaillant Heating Systems Expansion Module

The VR 70 mixing and solar module is an expansion element for the multiMATIC 700 controller, enabling integration of a solar installation or advanced control of heating circuits. It is a versatile solution for both installers and users who want to optimize the energy efficiency of their heating system.

VR 70 allows for flexible adaptation of the system to individual needs. It can be used for:

• Configuration with two independent mixing heating circuits, even without a solar installation.

Compatibility and additional equipment

The VR 70 module is dedicated to working with the multiMATIC 700 controller and allows connection of the VR 91 remote control. Please note that in the case of a solar installation, a separate collector sensor VR 11 (cat. no. 306788) must be purchased separately, which ensures precise temperature measurement and optimal operation of the solar system.

Installation

The installation of the VR 70 module is intuitive and in accordance with Vaillant standards. The module is wall-mounted and connected to the controller using eBUS connectors. The set includes two VR 10 temperature sensors, which allow temperature measurement at various points in the installation. Remember to set the module's bus address correctly during installation – each module should have a unique address, starting with number 1.
