Intelligent ventilation control with KERMI D13 Smart

The KERMI D13 Smart 230V controller is the central element of an intelligent mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. It enables precise control of Kermi D13 devices, creating a coherent MESH radio network in which each device amplifies the signal, extending the range throughout the house. Thanks to this, changing settings in one place automatically synchronizes the operation of all heat recovery units, ensuring balanced and efficient ventilation.

Functionality and possibilities

The controller offers a wide range of functions, both in the basic version and after connecting to the whiteAIR mobile application:

• Operating modes: Switching between heat recovery and exhaust ventilation.
• Speed control: Smooth adjustment of fan speed in four modes.
• Sleep mode: Turning off the ventilation for one hour, then automatically returning to previous settings.
• App control: Remote control of air exchange intensity, weekly programming, sleep mode with adjustable duration (1-9 hours), boost ventilation mode.
• Automation: Possibility of automatic control based on data from humidity and VOC (volatile organic compounds) sensors built into the Smart controller.
• Airflow sensors (optional): Cooperation with Constant Flow sensors allows for precise adjustment of fan speed in each device, taking into account weather conditions and ensuring optimal heat recovery – particularly important when mounting heat recovery units on different building facades.

Installation and compatibility

The controller is designed for flush-mounting in a standard electrical box with a minimum depth of 66 mm. The set includes a 230V/5V power supply. Communication is via Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy protocol in the 2.4 GHz frequency band with a maximum transmission power of 0.32 mW. This makes the controller energy-saving and provides a stable connection with the mobile application.
