The device is designed for mounting in walls up to 50 cm thick, and its compact design (minimum installation depth of 20 cm) makes it easy to integrate into existing architecture.

How does the Kermi D13 system work?

The key to the recuperator's operation is the ceramic heat exchanger, which recovers energy from the exhaust air and transfers it to the supply air. This makes heating and cooling the building more efficient, and reduces operating costs. The system is based on working in pairs – D13 devices are connected in a MESH Bluetooth network and synchronized by the controller. Every minute, the direction of the fans changes, providing balanced ventilation and optimal heat recovery (up to 87%).

Controller functions and expansion options

A controller is essential for the proper operation of the Kermi D13 system. Two versions are available:

• Basic: basic ventilation control functions (230V or battery version).
• Smart: advanced control functions via the whiteAIR mobile app, including:
  • Smooth adjustment of air exchange intensity.
  • Automatic mode controlled by a humidity and VOC (volatile organic compounds) sensor.
  • Weekly programmer.

Additionally, you can purchase Constant Flow sensors, which measure temperature, humidity and air velocity in each device, individually adjusting the fan operation for balanced ventilation – particularly useful in buildings exposed to strong gusts of wind. A system with CF sensors achieves energy class A+, providing the highest precision ventilation in accordance with standards.

The Kermi D13 recuperator is characterized by an air flow rate of 43 m³/h and a pipe diameter of 160 mm. 230V power supply ensures stable operation of the device.
