Purpose and Application

The COMPACT HCFB 4 250/HA fan operates in utility and industrial premises requiring constant air exchange without the need for duct installation. It is ideal for warehouses, storage facilities, workshops, production halls, parking garages, commercial premises, greenhouses, and poultry houses. It can also be integrated with air conditioning systems – its compact design allows installation in space-constrained areas.

Construction and Durability

The housing is made of extruded steel sheet coated with black epoxy paint, offering corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. The impeller, made of glass-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic (HCFT/HCFB), does not degrade under UV exposure, significantly extending its service life in outdoor conditions or under direct sunlight. Dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 – it minimizes vibrations and noise even during prolonged operation.

The single-phase motor operates at 220–240 V / 50 Hz, four-pole, and complies with UNE-113 and IEC 34-1 standards. It features an IP65 protection rating, ensuring complete protection against dust and water jets – safe even in humid or contaminated environments. Insulation class F guarantees resistance to high operating temperatures. Additionally, it includes thermal winding protection, which automatically switches off the motor in case of overheating – preventing damage without requiring an external thermostat.

Installation and Operational Flexibility

Designed for wall mounting in any position – no special alignment or airflow direction is required. It can operate at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C and relative humidity up to 95% – suitable for both cold storage facilities and hot production halls. It supports voltage-based speed control – it can be connected to a thyristor regulator (REB) or a transformer regulator (ARW 1,5/1), allowing airflow performance to be adjusted according to current ventilation needs.

Airflow capacity is 1215 m³/h with a low noise level of 52 dB(A). This ensures effective air exchange without aggressive noise, making it suitable for locations near work or residential areas.

No specialized maintenance is required – its simple construction and environmental resistance ensure durability for both the installer and the end user.
