Application and use

The COMPACT HCFB 6 450/HA fan is intended for general ventilation of utility and industrial premises. It is ideal where a constant, reliable air exchange is required – in warehouses, storage rooms, workshops, production halls, parking areas, commercial premises or greenhouses. It can be integrated with air‑conditioning systems, where its role is to exhaust air or support airflow in ventilation circuits.

Construction and durability

Impeller made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced thermoplastic – resistant to UV radiation and aggressive environments, ensuring long‑term stability even when exposed to sunlight or moisture. Housing made of extruded steel sheet, coated with a cathodic primer and polyester paint – protects against corrosion and provides durability in industrial conditions. Mounting elements are stainless steel. Dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 – minimizes vibration and noise during operation.

Motor and operating parameters

Single‑phase powered, 230 V / 50 Hz, asynchronous motor with a power of 220 W. Protection class IP65 – dust‑tight and protected against water jets, allowing installation even in humid or dirty environments. Insulation class F – provides resistance to high temperatures. The motor has thermal winding protection against overload – it automatically shuts off under excessive load, protecting the installation from damage. Operates in a temperature range from –40 °C to +70 °C.

Performance and noise

Delivers a maximum air flow of 4550 m³/h at a rotational speed of 835 rpm. Noise generated during operation is approximately 53 dB(A) – a moderate level that does not disturb work in office or industrial settings. For example, when installed in a production hall it will not hinder communication among workers.

Installation and flexibility

Designed for wall mounting – it can be installed in any orientation (vertical or horizontal), providing flexibility in system design. No complex support structures are required – its compact construction facilitates integration even in confined spaces.

Compliance and safety

Meets IEC 34-1 and UNE-113 standards for electric motors. Approved for operation at relative humidity up to 95 % – proven performance even in highly humid conditions such as car washes or cold rooms.
