The COMPACT HCFB 6 500/HA axial fan is a device designed for efficient air exchange in facilities with diverse purposes, ranging from large production halls and warehouses to parking lots and commercial premises. Its construction allows for wall mounting in any position, facilitating integration with existing ventilation or air conditioning systems. Thanks to the use of a rotor made of glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic, this model is resistant to UV radiation, making it suitable for operation in outdoor conditions or in rooms exposed to sunlight.

The device is ideal for locations requiring continuous air circulation for utility and industrial purposes. Due to the specific nature of the 6-pole motor operation, the fan generates less noise at lower rotational speeds, which is crucial in facilities such as greenhouses, breeding rooms, or workshops where acoustic comfort is important.

Construction and Technical Properties

The key element of this model is its compact design, which not only saves space during installation but also ensures high structural rigidity. The casing is made of steel sheet, protected against corrosion by cataphoretic painting with a primer and a polyester layer. Such protection guarantees long-term operation even in more difficult atmospheric conditions. Fastening elements are made of stainless steel, which further increases the resistance of the entire assembly to external factors.

The asynchronous electric motor (in the single-phase 230V version) has insulation class F and protection rating IP65 (for smaller diameters; models with a diameter of 800 mm and larger have IP55). This allows the device to operate in an atmosphere with relative humidity up to 95%. It is worth noting that the motor is equipped with thermal winding protection against overload and is standardly adapted for voltage-based speed control (except for 2-pole motors). The rotor has been dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940, resulting in smooth operation and reduced vibration during startup and continuous operation.

Operational Data and Working Conditions

The HCFB/6-500/H version (cat. no. 41520600) offers a maximum capacity of 5820 m³/h with a low noise level of 56 dB(A), resulting from the use of a low-speed 6-pole motor operating at approximately 840 rpm. The device consumes 290 W of power at a current of 1.6 A in a single-phase 230 V network. The total mass of the fan is approximately 16 kg, facilitating its mounting on a load-bearing wall.

• The fan can be controlled using a speed controller of type REB-2, allowing flexible adjustment of airflow to the current needs of the room without the need for complex frequency inverters.
• The operating temperature range of the device is from -40°C to +70°C, although it should be noted that for larger models (diameters Ø800–Ø1000), this range is narrowed to -20°C – +40°C.
• The use of composite material in the rotor eliminates the risk of corrosion of the rotating part itself, while maintaining the low weight of the entire drive assembly.
• Low speed and large rotor diameter (500 mm) allow the device to achieve high capacity while maintaining acoustic comfort, which is important when installing near residential or office areas.
