COMPACT HCFB 4 500/HA axial‑wall fan. 41520220
Application and design
The COMPACT HCFB 4 500/HA fan is an axial wall fan designed for continuous operation in industrial and commercial spaces. It is ideal for production halls, warehouses, wholesale centers, parking lots, greenhouses, chicken coops and pig barns – wherever effective air exchange is needed without the necessity of duct installation. It can also be integrated with air‑conditioning systems as an outdoor ventilation element.
Its unique, compact construction allows mounting in any position – horizontal, vertical or at an angle – without loss of performance. This is a key advantage for installations in confined spaces or where standard fans do not fit.
Construction and materials
The housing is made of extruded steel sheet coated with black epoxy paint – corrosion‑resistant and easy to clean. The impeller made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced thermoplastic (HCFT/HCFB) is resistant to UV radiation and aggressive atmospheres – it does not yellow, crack or lose rigidity even after prolonged sun exposure. Dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940, it provides stable operation at high speeds.
The single‑phase asynchronous motor (230 V, 50 Hz) has insulation class F and protection rating IP65 – meaning it is dust‑tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It operates safely even at relative humidity up to 95 %. Thermal protection of the winding guards against overload – especially important during long duty cycles or improper air supply.
Operating conditions and performance
The fan can operate in a temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C – making it suitable for both winter warehouses and hot production areas. Maximum airflow is 8810 m³/h, and the static pressure reaches 140 Pa – sufficient to overcome the resistance of medium‑length ventilation ducts or installations with grilles and filters.
This performance is achieved without excessive noise: sound level is approximately 68 dB(A) – typical for devices of this power class. The motor does not have a built‑in speed regulator, but it can be connected to a frequency converter.
