Multilayer pipe for water and heating installations
VPremium PERT/AL/PERT 16mm pipe is an advanced solution for building water installations – both hot and cold domestic water, as well as central heating, including underfloor heating. The pipe's construction, consisting of three layers – two layers of high-temperature resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) and a central layer of aluminum – combines the advantages of plastics and metal. This combination ensures high durability, flexibility and resistance to operating conditions. The coil length is as much as 400 meters, which significantly speeds up installation on large surfaces.
Construction and properties
The pipe is made of five layers: inner and outer layers of PE-RT, a welded overlap aluminum insert between them, and two layers of adhesive ensuring a durable connection of materials. Aluminum acts as an oxygen barrier, preventing corrosion of installation elements and minimizing the thermal expansion of the pipe – similar to that characteristic of metal pipes. This makes the installation stable and less prone to deformation. The pipe wall thickness is 2 mm, and the outer diameter is 16 mm, corresponding to the nominal diameter DN 12. The roughness of the inner walls is 0.007 mm, which minimizes flow resistance and promotes maintaining the cleanliness of the installation.

The VPremium PERT/AL/PERT pipe is perfect for a variety of applications, from drinking water installations to heating systems. Its high resistance to pressure (maximum working pressure at 20°C is 10 bar) and temperature (maximum medium temperature short-term is 95°C) guarantees safe and reliable operation for many years. The flexibility of the pipe facilitates installation, and the minimum bending radius of 64 mm allows it to be adapted to complex installation layouts. Additionally, the pipe is capped, which protects against contamination during transport and storage. The thermal conductivity is 0.41 W/(m.K), and the linear expansion coefficient is 0.25 mm/(m.K).
