Multilayer pipe for water and heating installations

VPremium PERT/AL/PERT pipe is a modern solution for creating water and heating installations, combining the advantages of plastics and metal. The construction based on polyethylene with increased temperature resistance (PE-RT) and a welded aluminum layer ensures reliable and durable connections. The pipe is lightweight, flexible and corrosion resistant, which facilitates installation and guarantees a long system life.

Construction and properties

The pipe consists of five layers: two layers of PE-RT, between which there is an aluminum layer welded in an overlap. Additional layers of glue ensure a tight connection between the plastic and aluminum. This construction translates into a number of benefits:

• Low linear expansion: thanks to the aluminum layer, the pipe changes its dimensions minimally under the influence of temperature, which reduces stress in the installation.
• Oxygen barrier: aluminum prevents oxygen from penetrating the installation, protecting it from corrosion and deposits.
• Resistance to high pressure and temperature: the pipe withstands pressure up to 10 bar and temperature up to 95°C, which allows it to be used in various heating systems.
• Low heat loss: the thermal conductivity is 0.45 W/mK, which minimizes energy losses in the heating system.
• Easy installation: the pipe is flexible and easy to bend, making it easier to adapt to complex installation layouts.

Application and compatibility

VPremium PERT/AL/PERT pipe is intended for:

• Water installations – both hot and cold domestic water.
• Central heating installations – including underfloor heating.
• Water distribution systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

The pipe can be connected with crimp fittings of the U type from VESBO, which provide quick, simple and tight installation without the need for soldering or gluing. These fittings are available in a wide range of diameters, allowing them to be adapted to different installation needs.
