Roof inlet AM with bituminous collar fi160 - Black 72013
Roof inlet with bituminous collar – reliable water drainage from the roof
This roof inlet, equipped with a bituminous collar, is a solution designed for effective drainage of water from flat roofs. Compatible with both multi-layer and single-layer roofs made of bituminous materials, it ensures a tight and durable connection. It is a universal element that will work both in new installations and in the modernization of existing systems.
Design and application
The AM inlet has been designed with ease of installation and a wide range of applications in mind. Thanks to the included 350 mm long pipe, installation is simple and quick. The possibility of using it in gravity (Ø 50 and Ø 75 mm models) and vacuum systems increases its functionality. Additionally, the inlet can be mounted on various types of roofing – not only bituminous ones. The filter inside the inlet effectively stops larger impurities, such as leaves or branches, preventing clogging of the downpipes.
Advantages and benefits
- Versatility: compatible with various types of bituminous roofs – both multi-layer and single-layer.
- Tightness: the bituminous collar ensures a secure and durable seal between the roof and the inlet.
- Easy installation: the included 350 mm long pipe facilitates installation.
- Protection against clogging: the filter inside the inlet stops larger impurities.
- Flexibility: can be used in gravity and vacuum systems (Ø 50 and Ø 75 mm models).
- Durability: made of high-quality materials resistant to atmospheric conditions.
- Expandability: a 230 V heating cable can be purchased as an option to ensure drainage of water and melted snow even at low temperatures. The collar width of 150 mm ensures compliance with European building standards.
- Suitable for various coverings: possibility of mounting on other roofing materials besides bituminous ones.
It is important to properly anchor the inlet to the supporting structure using the perforated collar and to follow the roof manufacturer's instructions during installation. This guarantees optimal functionality and long-term protection against the effects of roof dampness.
