Strut Mounting Rail Saddle Connector BIS

This BIS Strut BUP saddle connector is a key element in structural mounting rail systems. It is used to solidly and durably connect Strut rails to walls and ceilings, ensuring the stability of the entire installation. The holes in the connector are precisely matched to the holes in the rail, making installation easier and guaranteeing a secure fit. Made of 1.0242 (S250GD) steel with a ZM310 MAC coating, it combines strength and corrosion resistance.

Design and application

The connector is particularly useful in creating support structures for electrical installations, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and other systems where safe and reliable mounting of elements to the substrate is required. Its versatility makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use – thanks to its high resistance to weathering. It is an element of the BIS UltraProtect® 1000 system, which confirms its high quality and compliance with stringent standards.

Strength and corrosion

The use of high-strength steel and a special ZM310 MAC zinc coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance. The connector passed the salt spray test according to ISO 9227, demonstrating corrosion resistance for a minimum of 1000 hours (with a maximum of 5% red rust). This guarantees long-term reliability even in harsh environmental conditions. Thanks to this, it can be safely used in outdoor applications without fear of losing its mechanical properties.

The dimensions of the connector are: width 40 mm, height 44 mm and length 135 mm with a thickness of 4 mm. It is intended for Strut rails with dimensions 41x41 mm.
