The RapidStrut rail with dimensions 41×41 mm and a thickness of 2.5 mm is a key element of the professional Walraven BIS UltraProtect® 1000 fastening system. Made of S250GD (1.0242) steel with a C-profile, it provides exceptional structural stability while maintaining optimal installation flexibility.

Construction and functionality

The perforation system has been designed with maximum functionality in mind. Repeatable perforation includes round holes for anchoring the rail, and markers every 50 mm placed on all three sides of the profile allow for precise installation planning. The internal edges feature specially notched "teeth," which improve the locking of spring nuts, eliminating the risk of shifting during assembly.

The distance between the end of the rail and the first perforation hole always remains constant, guaranteeing installation repeatability regardless of the length of the section used.

Advanced anti-corrosion protection

The BIS UltraProtect® 1000 coating is not just standard surface protection – it also protects edges after cutting, eliminating the weakest points typical of traditional solutions. The system has undergone rigorous corrosion resistance testing, achieving a minimum of 1000 hours in the salt spray test (max 5% red rust) in accordance with ISO 9227.

As a result, this solution works well in both indoor applications and outdoor building environments, where atmospheric conditions demand the highest durability.

Safety and certification

The RapidStrut rail type 41|H has been tested for fire safety according to the EN 1363-1 standard, confirming its suitability for systems requiring fire classification. The system is primarily dedicated to cable tray fastenings, but its universal design allows for a wide spectrum of applications in industrial and infrastructure construction.

Maximum recommended static loads (Fa,z) should be determined based on dedicated load tables or technical documentation available from the manufacturer.
