Fire-resistant acrylic sealant Pacifyre® A

High-quality, ready-to-use acrylic-based fire-resistant sealant designed for effectively sealing gaps and openings around installation penetrations. It is ideally suited for use with plastic and steel pipes, ensuring the fire integrity of the building structure. Pacifyre® A sealant is not only fire protection but also a solid barrier against smoke penetration.

The product is a key element of fire protection systems, enabling the maintenance of the fire resistance of walls and ceilings. Its flexibility after curing (up to 12.5%) minimizes the risk of cracking caused by natural building movements or material shrinkage. Thanks to excellent adhesion to substrates, it provides a durable and reliable seal. Importantly, the sealant is waterproof and can be painted after curing, allowing for aesthetic integration with the surroundings.

Key features and applications:

• Versatility: Effectively seals passages for steel and copper pipes, as well as water (drinking, rainwater), gas, heating, cooling, and sanitary sewer installations.
• Fire resistance: Provides fire resistance of up to EI240 for linear seals, EI120 for fire protection of pipelines, and EI90 for fire protection of electrical cables.
• Compatibility with the Walraven system: Optimal results are achieved when used with Pacifyre® FPC and Pacifyre® EPC fire collars and the Pacifyre® FPC intumescent band.
• Additional properties: Has acoustic properties (noise reduction up to 62dB) and is smoke-tight. Meets high emission standards – level A+.
• Wide range of diameters: Can be used for single metal pipes up to DN200 and multi-pipe installation passages up to DN80. Cable bundles up to Ø 50 mm (maximum diameter of a single cable 21 mm).

Standards and certifications:

The product has European approval ETA (ETA 22/0037 for passages and ETA 16/1008 for expansion joints) and has been assessed in accordance with EN 1366-3 (installation passages) and EN 1366-4 (linear joints) standards. It meets the requirements of EN 13501-1 and EN 13501-2 standards regarding reaction to fire and fire resistance classifications. Additionally, it has a declaration of properties (DoP) and a certificate of conformity (CoC).

Technical data:

Cartridge capacity: 300 ml. Bulk packaging contains 12 pieces. The operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +80°C, while the application temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. Material shrinkage after curing is approximately 15% (DIN 52451).
