Elbow 20x45 WT Wavin PPR 3050933
Wavin PPR 20x45° socket fusion elbow – reliability and durability of connections
This socket fusion elbow, made of polypropylene (PP-R) by the renowned manufacturer Wavin, is designed for water and heating installations. Its construction, based on socket fusion connections, guarantees the tightness and long-term reliability of the system. The 45° angle makes it ideal for changing the direction of pipes in installations.
The elbow is characterized by a nominal diameter of 20 mm and an SDR 6 ratio, which ensures adequate mechanical strength and pressure resistance. Made of high-quality PP-R material, it is resistant to corrosion and deposits, which translates to a long service life of the installation. The use of seals further increases the connection certainty.
Construction features and application
The Wavin PPR elbow is an element of the Wavin PPR system, designed to create safe and durable installations in residential and commercial construction. Its one-piece construction simplifies installation, and the smooth inner surface minimizes pressure loss in the flowing medium. It can be used in potable water systems and central heating systems with a working temperature of up to 75°C and a maximum working pressure of 20 bar. Thanks to the use of PP-R material, the elbow is resistant to the action of many chemical substances present in water and heating fluids.
The use of a 45° elbow allows for precise routing of pipes in tight spaces or where a change in the installation direction is required at an angle other than 90°. This is particularly useful when modernizing existing installations or implementing unusual projects. The elbow is supplied in a raw state, which means no additional protective coatings – the PP-R material itself provides high corrosion resistance.
