Cross-busbar connector / jumper WQV 4/3 1054560000
Cross connector for TH35 rail terminals
The WQV 4/3 jumper is a current distribution element in electrical installations based on terminals mounted on the TH35 DIN rail. It is used to create electrical connections between adjacent terminals without the need for additional wires - simply mount it on the contacting terminals and tighten it. The product belongs to the W series from the German manufacturer Weidmuller and is designed for use with WDU 4 series terminals with a cross-section of up to 4 mm².
Construction and materials
The jumper housing is made of PA66 polyamide - a material resistant to mechanical impact and corrosion, which proves effective in harsh industrial conditions. The conductive elements consist of tin-plated copper contacts, which ensure low contact resistance and corrosion resistance. The jumper is fully insulated and equipped with a cover protecting against accidental contact with live parts - thus meeting touch safety requirements in installations operated by various users.
The yellow color of the housing is intentional - it facilitates quick identification of the jumper in a crowded control cabinet, especially during inspections and service work.
Operating parameters and compatibility
The jumper carries a rated current of 41 A at a voltage of 400 V, allowing its use in distribution and power circuits with standard parameters. The three-point configuration enables the connection of three adjacent terminals into a single node. The contact spacing of 6.1 mm corresponds to the pitch of the WDU 4 series terminals - installation consists of inserting the jumper into the side grooves of the terminals and tightening it with clamping screws.
The operating temperature range from -60°C to +130°C allows for installation in both industrial cold storage and near heat sources. The housing material is self-extinguishing - in the event of a failure, it limits the spread of fire.
Practical application
This type of cross connector is used wherever there is a need to split one power line into several branch circuits - typically in the construction of LV switchboards, control cabinets, and automation panels. The product is delivered in bulk packaging containing 50 pieces, which meets typical wholesale requirements and minimizes logistical waste for larger projects.
